Year End Procedures FAQ’s
Year End
closing is more restrictive than the other 11 months.
Normally,
you can open new month Dayfiles without closing the
previous month, as long as the month is closed within the next 30 days.
For
example:
·
You can open new month dayflies and
close each day
·
You can open and close dayfile back to previous month to enter last minute TRXs.
At year
end, the following restriction applies:
·
You can open a new month/year dayfile, but you cannot CLOSE
that dayfile until month end and Year end is done.
Therefore they can work, enter payments etc, but must work on that same dayfile until month end/year end is done.
·
If you have unique dayflies per
operator, then dayfiles for old month can be opened/closed as many times as necessary, while dayflies
opened to new month cannot be closed until month end and year end procedures are
completed. Therefore, be very
careful when specifying dates for each new dayfile; if
you specify a new year, you won’t be able to close that dayfile until month end is done.
