Upload Scanned Documents

Documents scanned at your central network scan station will be automatically sent to your individual PC.  Then that document must be attached to a patient account.

           

Scan in one docuement

·         Place your document(s) into the scanner.
Note:  If there are 5 pages for 5 different patients, you must scan in one page at a time.  If the document is for one patient, and contains multiple pages, you may scan all pages at one time.  Each scan creates one file.

·         On your copier/scanner, 

o   Press Scan button

o   Select Scan to File,

o   Specify which PC workstation to send the file to.

o   The scanner should start automatically

·         Repeat for additional documents.

Attach document to a Patient Account

·         On the guiCyberMed screen, select Document TrackingUpload Scans

·         Next to Document, choose a file.  The file will be displayed on the left half of the screen.  Based on the displayed information, select your Patient, Date, Type, and description.   Click Upload  to link the file to that patient.  If the image is unclear and you need to re-scan document, click Delete.
